Students at Christ the King Catholic School have many opportunities to engage in sporting events. The school is involved in the Kiwisport Programme which funds the facilitation of various sporting codes in affiliation with local and national sporting associations. We are fortunate to work closely with a dedicated team from Sport Waitakere who coordinate the Kiwisport Programme on our behalf.
Students in Years 5 & 6 represent the school in the Mt Roskill Cluster of local schools. Students have the opportunity to play in many inter-school competitions throughout the year.
Over the past 5 years we have competed in Netball, Touch and Softball. These are run outside of school hours.
Please keep an eye on registrations for these as they fill up fast.
The school employs a specialist sport facilitator and each class is timetabled to have Physical Education lessons each week.
