Vision
The vision for Christ the King is to
Serve God and Grow and support children to reach their
potential. These are achieved through three key areas that honour the
individual by recognising:
- the culture, language and knowledge that
students bring to their learning
- that the student is learning life skills in a
caring Catholic community
- students learn best when learning is fun,
challenging, involving and supportive
Each of these key areas is supported through having
the following values, attitudes and beliefs which are embedded in the Josephite
Charism:
- a safe secure environment
- CRC- care, respect, and courtesy
- aroha (love and compassion), tika (justice),
pono (truth)
- learning strategies, inquiry learning, student
engagement, thinking skills, making connections
- choices and opportunities
