High Interest Programmes

High Interest Programmes at Christ the King Catholioc School (HIP)

Once per week students at the school are given the opportunity to engage in a HIP activity. Our past successful HIP programmes have included: Kapa Haka, Choir, Chess, Ukelele, Keyboard classes, Art and Craft, Science Club, Martial Arts, Sports, Cultual performance, Drama, Cooking and Digital photography.

Each term students opt into an activity of their choice. The school endeavours to give all students their first or second choice of activity. Students can remain in the same activity from term to term, if offered, or they can take the opportunity to give something else a try.

In Term 3, 2016 we are offering: Arts & Crafts, Badminton, Book Club, Chinese Arts, Dance, Junior Digi-Club, Kapahaka and Ukelele.

In Term 2, 2016 we offered: Art, Badminton, Book Club, Chinese Arts, Dance, Digi-Club, Kapahaka and Ukelele.
