Charism

 

Our School was founded by the Josephite Sisters, the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Sacred Heart, fired with a passion for God.  They believed that Jesus Christ calls us to a deep compassion for "wounded" humanity.  They wanted to work with people in simple and ordinary ways to relieve suffering and bring hope.

We respond to the call to live the charism of Mary MacKillop, the foundress and pioneer in Australian Catholic education.  We are challenged to honour the dignity of everyone, to live simply, and to make room for all - this is the Josephite charism.
